HYDRO NOMAD SERIES
The Hamachi Hydro Nomad™ is a light-to-medium spin flick stick built for boats, shore, rock and travel — available in a compact 7'2" and a longer-reaching 9'2", both in a 4-piece design that breaks down to fit neatly into a carry-on bag, backpack or overhead locker.
Built on a forgiving low-tensile composite blank, the Hydro Nomad absorbs accidental shocks in a way that high-modulus carbon simply cannot — yet still delivers a lively, responsive feel. The range covers two line classes to suit the full spread of light inshore fishing.
The 3–6kg (6–15lb) version is the finesse option — perfectly weighted for bream, whiting, flathead and light trevally on lures from 5–20g.
The 6–15kg (12–30lb) version steps up to handle Australian salmon, queenfish, tailor and bluefish, casting metal slugs, hard-body lures and small poppers up to 30g with authority.
Both versions are equally at home on the beach, rock platform, river estuary or light boat work. At just 220 grams, the Hydro Nomad is one of the lightest rods in its class. SiC braid-ready guides, a Hamachi composite reel seat with CNC alloy trim and a moderate-fast taper round out the build — everything you need, nothing you don't.
Whether you're hiking into a remote rock ledge, travelling interstate, or just want a light, nimble rod that handles everything the coast throws at you, the Hydro Nomad is the rod that goes everywhere and complains about nothing.
