FLAGSHIP SERIES

XOS GTnDOGGIE - GRANDMASTER

The Most Uncompromising Rods We Have Ever Built. Priced Accordingly.

At $4,200–$5,100 USD, the XOS GT'n'Doggie Grandmaster sits at the absolute peak of our Hamachi flagship range — and among the most expensive production rods of their type built anywhere in the world today. That price is not positioning. It is the cost of building rods with no cost ceiling: extreme-grade nano carbon blanks, full titanium guide frames, and construction tolerances that reflect what serious anglers actually need when they are fighting the largest fish on the planet.

Every Grandmaster blank is ultrasonically scanned millimeter by millimeter, load tested and cut to exacting tolerances matched to each performance range. Bindings are hand-laid — guides, reel seat and butt cap laser-aligned, wound with the finest available thread, and painstakingly finished in multiple coats of crystal-clear two-part epoxy formulated to Grandmaster specification. Each finished rod is load tested and ultrasonically scanned again to confirm it meets the ultra-high performance standard that defines the XOS GT'n'Doggie Grandmaster name

Six purpose-built formats cover the full spectrum of trophy offshore & freshwater fishing.

The Grandmaster Extreme Traveller puts a 9'6" PE 5–13 popper into a 58 cm carry-on-legal package — five-piece construction engineered for anglers who fly to their fishing and refuse to compromise on the rod that waits at the other end.

The Grandmaster Expedition is an 8'2" three-piece platform with 94 cm travel sections, built for boat-based trophy GT, marlin and dogtooth tuna work where casting authority and maximum blank recovery are non-negotiable.

The Grandmaster Speed Jig — 5'6", two-piece, PE 5–13, rated to 500 g — is built for deepwater trophy hunting where big metal needs to fall fast and lock up hard.

The Grandmaster Slow Pitch Jig takes a completely different path: 6'7", two-piece, PE 1–3, rated to 250 g, with the progressive parabolic taper that makes slow pitch fishing work at depth — secondary capable on soft plastics and bottom work when the bite dictates.

The Grandmaster Spin — a 6'7" two-piece PE 1–2 spinning rod. Purpose-built with a crisp fast taper for largemouth bass, trout and salmon, steelhead & barramundi on the 7–28 g lures that define freshwater sport fishing.

The Grandmaster Stand Up 5'6" — 37–60 kg (80–130 lb IGFA) is built for one purpose: holding on. This is a stand-up game rod for blue marlin, black marlin, giant bluefin tuna and billfish — the fish that test tackle, angler and crew simultaneously. The Hamachi bent butt transfers load directly into the harness, keeping the angler upright and in control through the fight. Hamachi wind-on roller guides and roller tip eliminate the line friction that costs fish at the critical moments, while the leather foregrip delivers a sure, fatigue-resistant hold under sustained pressure.

RRP $4,200–$5,100 USD

All Six Grandmaster models carry Hamachi's Lifetime Warranty.
